Walk-in Interview at Kendriya Vidyala, Katihar for Teaching posts - Mar 2012

A Walk-in Interview will be conducted for the appointment of Part-time Contractual basis for the following posts. Remuneration as per KVS guidelines. Eligible candidates are requested to bring original as well as Xerox copies of all certificates/testimonials.

1. PGT: Sociology & Psychology

• Qualification : Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subject from a recognized University. Proficiency to teach in both Hindi & English. Desirable: B. Ed.

2. PGT: Computer Science

• Qualification : B.E. or B. Tech (Computer Science/IT) or B.E./B.Tech (any Stream) with PG Diploma in Computers or PG Diploma in Computers and PG Degree in any subject of ‘A’ Level from DOEACC or MCA Degree from a recognized Institution. Proficiency to teach in both Hindi & English.

2. Computer Instructor

• Qualification : B.Sc.(Computer Science)/BCA/PGDCA or equivalent Degree/Diploma from a recognized Institution.  Teaching efficiency in Hindi & English is required.

3. Primary Teachers

• Qualification : Senior Secondary (Class XII) with 50% marks, JBT/D.Ed after Senior Secondary (Class XII) or B.Ed. or equivalent Competence to teach through Hindi & English.

4. Instructor of Spoken English

• Qualification : Diploma in Communicative English from CIEFL/IGNOU or other recognized University or MA(Eng) with minimum 50% marks and fluency in spoken English.

5. Coaches (Games & Sports)

• Qualification : B.P.Ed. in concern discipline or certificate of NIS coaching or at least represented District/State/ National Team

6. Vocational Skill Teacher (Music, Dance)

• Qualification : Indian Classical and Folk dance.  At least degree/ diploma in concerned discipline from a recognized Institute/University.

7. Drawing/Art Coach

• Qualification : Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts from a recognized Institute.

Walk-in Interview will be held on 17 and 18 March 2012 at 10:00 AM onwards.  The details are as given below:
