Vacancies for Teaching posts (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) at University of Kalyani - Apr 2012

University of Kalyani invites applications in eight copies (one in prescribed form along with seven photo-copies) from the eligible Indian citizens,  available at the Recruitment Section of the Registrar’s Department of the University by paying application fee of Rs.500.00 (for Professor),  Rs. 400.00 (for Associate Professor) and Rs. 300.00 (for Asstt. Professor)  in cash (non-refundable) at the Cash Counter of the University on week days from 11.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., for the following substantive teaching posts on or before 04.05.2012 which are being re-advertised for the 2nd time. SC/ST candidates are to pay ¼ (one fourth) of the application fee, for which they will have to produce relevant certificates from the appropriate authority at the time of collecting the forms. Application Form may also be downloaded from the University website www.klyuniv.ac.in. The application fees is to be deposited along with the filled up downloaded application form by Account Payee Bank Draft of any nationalized Bank in favour of “UNIVERSITY OF KALYANI” payable at Kalyani. An application fee of US $ 50 shall accompany downloaded Application Forms submitted directly from foreign countries.

Preferred Age:
Professor:  Not more than 50 years; Associate Professor: Not more than 45 years;
Assistant Professor: Not more than 37 years.
Note:Upper age limit is relaxable as per existing norms.

Pay Scales:
For Professor:              Pay Band Rs. 37,400 - 67,000 with AGP Rs. 10,000
Associate Professor:    Pay Band Rs. 37,400 - 67,000 with AGP Rs. 9,000
Assistant Professor:    Pay Band Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with AGP Rs. 6,000
